The Block NZ is back, and this year our teams will be taking on four dilapidated Auckland Villa's. As usual our bold young Block contestants will be battling the volatile spring weather, renovations on a shoestring, and back-breaking long hours.

It's day 2 on The Block and the contestants are waking up to a frosty Auckland morning and a communal breakfast with their new house-mates.

Cat and Jeremy have just won the guest bedroom room reveal and with first pick, out of all four houses, it's looking like the most consequential win of the season.

It's Tuesday morning on The Block NZ, and our teams have just woken up from their second night in their chosen Block houses.

Despite being well adjusted to Block life, it seems our villa-residents are yet to acknowledge basic respect for each other's personal space.

It's the last ditch effort as our teams race to complete their kids bedroom's. Jamie and Hayden have the larger portion of their work completed and Sarah and Minanne should in theory be in the same boat.

Bathroom week has instilled fear into the hearts of every Block contestant for the past three seasons, and this year - Villa-Wars will be no exception.

Four failed pre-line inspections have lead to hours of playing catch-up, but when time gets the better of one team, will they risk further delays or take matters into their own hands?

Another exhausting day awaits our Block teams. Before bed, Cat and Jeremy had laid out a test to check their waterproofing but after the plunger came lose.
