The First Hour

Ant and Sav play through the first hour of a video game, with varying results. Sometimes serious, sometimes chaotic, always fun.

There's been a falling out over the Queen's biscuit at First Hour towers this week, and the boys aren't talking to each other. So they've decided to play the co-op title `It Takes Two' - all about a divorcing couple learning to love each other.

It's a very spooky episode of The First Hour this week, as the boys summon their inner vampire and wear what are undoubtedly some of the boldest cosplays in the series' history, as they play Resident Evil Village.

Ant and Sav face the biggest challenge of their gaming lives, the grandfather of the `Souls' franchise, `Demon's Souls'. The boys try to best this PS5 remake of the 2013 PS3 title without getting chewed up and spit them out.

Ant & Sav play one of the years biggest games - Deathloop. As the boys try to "break the loop", expect carnage, falling over and general panic as they stumble through this stealth-action title.

Metroid action returns after a 16 year haitus with 'Metroid Dread' on the Nintendo Switch. Watch as Ant and Sav take on fearsome alien creatures, terrifying hunter robots, and a large complex map they're guaranteed to get lost in.

Ant and Adam get to grips with `Back 4 Blood', a cooperative first-person shooter.

Preparing to venture into space, fight action-packed battles and fly about in intense air combat, or in the case of Ant and Sav, fall off ledges, crash their plane and dress up like space badgers.

A ghost has been to visit Ant on Christmas night, bringing four games from him and Sav's past for them to play and reminisce. Sav relives his childhood by bashing his head against `Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' on the NES.
